Part of the celebration was a reception.  One of my sister-in-laws created a beautiful cake!  It was outstanding!  Stunning!  Not only beautiful but amazingly delicious!

It was topped with a simple but beautiful and classic cake topper.  Simply the number 50 in gold with flowers arranged around it on top of the cake.

Anniversaries, in my opinion are an even more spectacular and important event.  They are a way to celebrate the success and faithfulness of that commitment and life together as well as to honor the continued life together.  Each anniversary is important, however there are milestone anniversaries that get special attention, and that people often celebrate with a party, couples sometimes renew their vows  and often there is a cake!

There are many options for anniversary cake toppers!  Probably just as many as wedding cake toppers!  They can look very much like wedding cake toppers, or they can focus on the number of years the couple has been together.

We have the honor this year of celebrating my husbands parents 50th wedding anniversary.  50 years!  Now that is something to celebrate.  So my mind has been on that celebration.  Here are a few cake toppers I have seen for those amazing couples who have shared 50 years together.
