Yes, that’s right. It’s a mouth full. Cartoon Personalized Cake Toppers. They do exist. They are amazing. What a unique and personalized way to decorate your cake!

Well now you can have a custom cake topper made with a figurine of yourself! The bride and groom can be crafted in an animated, cartoon fashion. The art work and depiction is really remarkable. You can have the artist add any details you desire. Would you like your wedding cake topper to depict the bride and groom dressed for one of their favorite activities? You can! Would you like to celebrate your anniversary with a cake topper depicting the bride and groom as they were on that day? Absolutely doable! What about celebrating your child with a cake topped with a figurine of him or her doing what they love to do? The options are endless.

I ran accross one artist in particular whose work is remarkable and whom designs these custom figurines specifically for cake toppers. What a unique idea!

Wilton is one of the most well known companies in the cake baking industry. They have lead that industry for over 80 years now. They sell all the right products for baking and crafting the perfect cake for the occasion. There products are quality. They offer many tools for baking, designing and decorating unique cakes, specialized for any occasion.

So, naturally, they are great place to look for a quality, but unique cake topper!

When I say cakes for any occasion, I mean it! Here are a few of my favorites! Some are cake toppers, some uses other tools of theirs and they help you build your own cake or cake topper.

Choosing a cake topper.

There are a million cake toppers out there. If you are like me, you may want to have some sort of guideline or method for choosing a cake topper. So here are a few things to consider when shopping for a cake topper.

1. Consider the size. You want something that is going to fit your cake and look appropriate. A cake topper that is tiny on a huge cake is lost and looks out of place, however a cake topper that is huge may not fit on a smaller cake or again, look silly and out of place. So consider the size as you are shopping.

2.Consider the construction and material it’s made with. Most of the time this isn’t an issue, and if it is, it can be worked through, however a cake topper that is too heavy for a delicate cake could be a problem.

3. Consider the occasion. Obvious. A wedding cake topper probably needs to have a romantic theme, a birthday cake topper, a birthday theme!

4. Consider those the cake is honoring. How can you make it unique to them? What are there unique styles and likes?

5. Would you like an edible cake topper or simply a decorative one?

6. Consider your budget. Cake toppers range in price greatly, so consider your budget and what you would like to spend.

Those are just a few guidelines to get you started and thinking about the right cake topper for you!

Marking the Occasion

I love to celebrate! There are so many great reasons to celebrate. We live in a culture that often fails to celebrate those things most worth celebrating. We are either too busy to effectively mark the occasion, we fail to notice those occasions, or we are simply unsure how celebrate.

The “big” occasions may seem obvious since our culture has norms for many of those (weddings, birthdays, etc.) But there are many other reasons to celebrate and mark the occasion.

One of my favorite ways to mark an occasion is with a cake. It doesn’t take long to quickly bake a cake, or pick one up from the store. But everyone knows there is something special if you have a cake. And everyone feels special and cared for, if the cake is in honor of them. A cake that is uniquely for that person or that occasion is an AMAZING way to go the extra mile, to really honor that person or that day and to make the day special. A unique cake can really make the occasion.

I think one of the best ways to make a cake unique to the occasion or the person is with a cake topper. Cake toppers are so simple to add to a cake and yet speak so loudly to the extra thought and care that was taken. They take a cake from ordinary to extraordinary with very little effort and take your occasion from noteworthy to celebrated!

So let’s take time to enjoys the small things in life, and to celebrate those things and people that deserve to be celebrated, let’s have beautiful cake and eat it too!
